A specific Student Form may also request identifiers or documents such as a matriculation number, JAMB number, NIN, date of birth or photograph when those details are necessary for that exercise.

The website may record limited technical information such as IP address, browser information, page requests and security/rate-limit events. This information is used to operate, secure and improve the platform.
4. Why information is processed
Information should be used for the purpose stated at the point of collection, such as student-support verification, programme administration, event registration, responding to an enquiry, sending requested updates, preventing abuse or maintaining necessary records.
5. Sensitive student submissions
Student Forms that request sensitive identifiers should collect only what is necessary for the stated exercise. Uploaded form documents are designed to be stored outside the normal public uploads directory and accessed only by authorised officers through the administration system.

Access should be limited to authorised NANS personnel and service providers who need the information for the stated purpose. Information should not be published or shared for unrelated purposes without an appropriate basis.
