I have received a large number of complaints from students who were awarded scholarships through the Federal Scholarship Board since 2024 but are yet to receive their scholarship payments.
The volume of complaints has become a serious concern, and I will be engaging the Federal Scholarship Board in the coming days to ascertain the cause of the delay and understand why these scholarship awardees have not been paid.
I urge all affected awardees to remain calm and patient. We will engage the relevant authorities directly and get to the root of this matter.
The welfare and rights of Nigerian students remain our topmost priority, and we will continue to demand answers, transparency, and accountability wherever necessary.
